THE FOLLOWING BYLAW CHANGES WERE DISCUSSED:

1. Auction Date - Discussion of the 2007 AFL Auction was dicussed and by a majority vote the leage approved setting the date for the 2007 AFL Auction on Saturday August 25, 2007 at the location selected by the winner of the 2006 Phi Bowl.

2. Player Protection: By a majority vote the league approved abolishing player protection.

3. Franchise: By a majority vote the league approved changed the franchise rounds from one to two.

4. Winter Meeting: By a majority vote the league decided to cancel the winter meeting for this year.

5. No Show at the Auction: By a majority vote the league approved the "Hendrickson Rule." This rule states that owners who do not attend the auction are fined $20.00 - the amount is reduced from their "AFL Dollars," leaving them with $80.00 to spend on players for that season.*

6. Ethics Chairman: By a majority vote the league choose not to reappoint Clint Whitney as the 2006 Ethics Chairman. The league then appointed John Wilson to fill the position formerly held by Whitney.

The meeting was adjourned and the 2006 Player Auction Began.
